About This is a panoramic made from 14 images. I've yet to put together the 50+ image version. That will require a new computer.
Bonus point to anyone that can find the helicopter in the image. Unfortunately at this resolution it's a bit tough to see but it is there and can be seen.

Michael I prefer a more natural contrasty looking scene versus one that has a more homogenous feel with push/pulled exposures. I lock the exposure on an area I feel is the most important area detail wise or is the middle ground exposure wise and begin to shoot. In this case since the clouds were moving into the scene I'll likely crop more of the image on the right. This should give the image a more balanced feel exposure wise. This was challenging lighting and it was changing rather rapidly. BTW I kept the far right in the image to contrast the canyon with the surrounding tropical hills. There is actually more to this image to the right but I already cropped most of it.

Helicopter is white, one mountain range to the right of the split water fall.

Stunning shot - great details, lots to look at, fun, fun, fun. Any plans to PS push and pull some of the overall components, or do you prefer a clean image?

Intersting capture with good panoramic beauty, just too small for my taste, except the size well done

Awesome job, Jim!
this is an amazing view (and I didn't know panoramas can be wider than 1200pix).

Wow, Jim, these just get better and better. I am blown away! I hope you are using software that simplifies the stitching. Stitching 14 images using PS is the equivalent of cruel and unusual punishment!

Wow this is amazing. The patterns and colour within the hills give a great impact. Looks like lots of effort and hard work here.

Amazing pano, with a huge level of details.... The sheer size of this landscape is breathtaking. The helicopter (thanks for finding it for me, John!) places it even more in perspective (and so does the waterfall...) Great shot.

Cheers,

Hugo
