Hi Paul,

I prefer this one. It's a great (and unexpected) choice for monochrome. I like the compostion, and the contract between the perfectly still branch, and the driving force of the water.

Really nice job Paul.

The central branch from the previous upload. Lovely abstract - love the lines and the B&W tones. Two different approaches to the same thing, both excellent! Regards.

Hi Paul - I prefer this one. Strikes me as a little more arty-farty than the other one, but this is almost iconic. I love long exposures of water. Really well done. Thanks for stopping by my image...

Nice created diagonal with the branch, the contrast between un moving branch and watrer in motion is great!

I´m surpriced to see nature shots from you, but i like to be surpriced :)

Paul... I prefer this one. The sharp detail and excellent light on the twig, combined with the fast flowing water make this shot great!

As already noted this makes a lovely natural abstract. Lovely tones and beautiful movement in the water. I'm more of a nature shooter myself so I prefer the first colour shot as it holds more interest in the scene for my tastes but I still really do like viewing this one. Each has a different mood so aren't really comparible images. Beautiful shot.

Cheers - Ann :)

Awesome DOF! The tones and contrast are wonderful in this image! That twig forms a lovely abstract pattern.
