I think the top layer of the water was already water again because of a few days above zero. Then it started to freeze again with lots of wind and then you get this marvelous frozen water. I think its the same with waterfalls, they can become Ice as well. Thanks for liking it. Klaas

This is so interesting image of the sea with frozen waves,I've never seen ice on the sea surface in this way.The water seems to be quite still*motionless* ,but I know it's not possible. Very interesting and nice photo. Meldijana

Hoi Riny, een beetje hobbelig om te schaatsen, bedankt weer voor je lovende commentaar. De schaduw is inderdaad van een rij lage bomen, maar omdat de zon zo laag stond lijkt het of ze groter zijn. gr.Klaas

Hoi Klaas, was het ijs wel dik genoeg om te kunnen schaatsen? De schaduw wat ik links onder ziet is dat niet van een rij bomen langs de kant van de weg? Voort treffelijk vast gelegd! Gr, Riny
