Hi Kambiz, I think this is very nice, it is good to feel, it is what gives us empathy and a conscience, and affects our dealings with all others and things. You are obviously a very feeling person, very admirable and certainly a trait that you are able to convey through your artwork. I agree with your philosophy!! I wish there were easy answers!! Take care my artist friend, don't suffer, make the little changes that each one of us can make, and try to enjoy this time that you have. :)

Dear Linda, thanks for sharing your feeling.
I beleve that GOD or creator put the same heart, logic and feelings into every body on this Mother Earth.
Then, different filters such as money, materialistic stuff, ego, selfishness, so on .... cover our heart, mind and feelings which unable us to feel our life properly.
I believe that a person who push a bottom that send a deadly missile toward innocent people, a murderer, a military person, a doctor, and an artist has the same feelings, But the thickness of their filters are different based on how much their lost their soul.
When I see a tragic scene, I do NOT just see it, but also I try to put myself in that situation and FEEL, although I might NOT been in that situation in my entire life!!!
I look into the victim's, murderer's eyes which is a gate to their soul, and try to feel their feeling as much as I can.
Then I suffer.

Again I understand you completely Kambiz!! As an artist, or artists, we are sensitive people, and you are very sensitive. Which I personally think is very good because at least you go through life feeling and caring, maybe more than you want to at times, but some people don't have that. I think also that it is the sensitivity that allows us to express what we see and gives us that desire to share what we see with others, (and can also be why when someone gives us, what we might feel a negative critique, why we feel hurt or upset, hahaha). I know what you mean too when you say your art is you, I am the same way. I have enjoyed our correspondence. Take care!!

Thank you Linda.
I BELIEVE that an artist should be responsible to his/her sorrounding and try to reflect as much as the "truth" to his/her viewers.
Also I believe that a creation in art should be unique.
I have seen so many artists that made copies of one piece in mass productions or they try to create something that could sell. Therefore they make a distance between their feeling with what they produce.
I like to have money but I NEVER MIX MY ARTS WITH MONEY.
MY ART IS MY ENTIRE FEELINGS.
Sometimes I give my creations to people if I feel that they care about them, because my arts means MEEEEEEEEEE !!!!

Hellos again Kambiz, your words moved me. You are a sensitive person who writes with much feeling. I think a lot of us share your experience growing up, because art is usually considered a frivolous waste of time by those who are not artistically inclined, usually our parents, they know how difficult it can be make a living as an artist, and because they care for us they think they are doing us a favor by pushing us in other directions, but I agree with you, I wish that I had spent my time studying art when I was going to school too, but I also studied the sciences and got a degree in nursing. Now I spend as much time as I can surrounded by photography and art in general. My next venture is watercolors. I hope you will continue to persevere with your wonderful photography and art, you are very good at it, and you express yourself well with words too..take care Kambiz!! :-)

Thank you Linda for your warm comment.
Thank you for your efforts to share your feelings with me.
I guess I always loved art in general but due to the cultural circumstances,(born and raised in Iran), I had never had chance to study it. Therefore I was pushed to all of those degrees in Science.
Perhaps by getting a camera as present from my dear parents, and to take photos, it allowed my feelings to respond toward my surrounding.
Perhaps if I was borned in Europe or USA, then my story would be completely different, and perhaps I was a famous artist!!
Beside photography like most Iranian, I can write poems and draw paintings without having any studies about them.
