Christopher,

Thank-you for the kind words and the support. So far the 55th Combat Camera Company (my unit) has been very lucky - since 2003 up today we have had only five U.S. Army Combat Camermen wounded in action. The Air Force has had only one that I know of, and the Marines I think are at 5 or 6 wounded...one of the Marine Combat Cameramen was killed in Oct 2004 near Fullujah.
The Combat Camera School is at the Defense Information School - Ft Meade, Maryland. Also it is where military journalist go as well.Again Thank-you for your support and kind words.

Best Wishes,
Chuck

P.S.

Today I'm gonna post one of my partner a fellow Combat Cameramen in action during Combat Operations in Fallujah - by the way he is Air Force.

Again, I can't stress enough how much I love your work, and I wish I had the balls to do what you do. Your photo journalism is incredible, and you have experiences that you probably wish you didn't have, and those you wouldn't trade for the world. It amazes me constantly how well you capture that tense moment. I also don't think a lot of people consider you are just as much a target with a camera as you are with a rifle. You are truly an inspiration. Come home safe.
