what a wonderful aged photograph worth alot of respect ,WALES is a very nice place and I really enjoyed to view this image ,I wonderful of the father see his face expresion now a days ,what would he think of this image , very impresive and very pleasant to view , all of the best my friend .By the way I was fo a while on the other side of Wales ,a place called Portishead by the river.

Sorry to hear about the poor health, Ray. Good to hear from you again.

The plaster of paris on the right arm in the photograph was from trying to do a backward somersault and not from anything to do with the motorcycle, I'm glad to say.

Dad had an Ariel after the Bantam, then added a sidecar, then complained a lot because of 'the weight', so he went up one more step to a 500 cc. machine. As you say, those were the days...bloody cold ones in the winter, no matter how much you wrapped up!

Hi Len...you old rascal!! Those were the days when you could motorcycle and let the wind get through every and anywhere. I had Bantam which I shared with a best friend, we souped it up and it performed amazingly. Thanks for sharing your memories Len...I'm a bit behind due to poor health so I am trying to catch up with everyone. It is great to see you posting again....please keep it up.
