I love this composition and appreciate what you have had to do to 'defish'. The details are stunning with wonderful colours and I particularly love the distant reflections of the escalator passengers. Well, the original fisheye image gives me the feeling that I am looking in a back-mirror. This one that you defished is to my taste!I love those escalators up and down and the FLOWERS look great among metal,stone and glass. You caught well the movement, the busy section of a department store! Very well captured, dear Roger!

Hmmmm. I see what you mean. With this crop I think I would have removed more of the pillars on both sides. One of the reasons I like immersive panoramas, where you can pan around within the image, is that it allows you to select any number of FOVs and directions: you can continue to explore the scene for more photo opportunities at your leisure!

very intersting photo, lots of things to see... I like the multi level view.
I still like to see the decnding escalator, maybe just crop a little of the lower but not that much... good composition.. regards..

When it first appeared on my screen, I enjoyed the way the scene unfolded, getting narrower between the pillars as more of the image arrived. It made me think about a crop like this... (Yes, I know you lose the flowers which are central to the original. And sorry about the quick crude cloning - I would actually like the left pillar to have simple lines similar to the one on the right. But hey, I'm getting carried away now.)

PS. I love the concept of rigorous defishing...
