Absolutely beautiful, very very nice. It is of what I love to take pictures of. I agree with Joel, that I would stand in awe for a few hours before I could move.

I wouldn't even know where to start, to take a picture where you were! I think I would just stand there in shock for a few hours before even pulling the camera out of the bag. So glad to hear that don't alter the scans of the slides. It is still a hard pill for me to swallow when I even open one of my images in photoshop!

i miss film.

best regards,
-Joel

Thank you Joel. This was one of those "once in a lifetime" type visits, due to distance. I was able to soot 70-ish shots, and this was one of the few that I considered "presentable". I was totally out of my element, had never seen anything like this before, and was at a loss as to how to shoot most of the canyon. I try not to alter any of the film scans, so this is basically the raw image on Fujichrome.

Thank you Paul. It's one of my favorites also. I shot two rolls (36x2) of Fujichrome, this is what I got back "outta' the can". This is a raw image. Only a few had the "bling", this is one.

That's amazing! I must go there some day!

Fantastic colors, and saturation. Your composition had me think I was clicking on a flower thumbnail. There's a wee bit of flare at the top of the plate that could possibly be squeezed out w/ some contrast, but other than that, beautiful capture!

cheers,
-Joel
