A very interesting image that works beautifully in the pano format. The way the shot places the individuals into little separate frames with Big Brother/Sister looking on makes a succinct statement about contemporary urban life. The b&w supports the vision quite effectively. A real winner! Best regards, --George

Hi Hugo,
great idea with the competing pedestrian. Unfortunately, the guys just walked from the right to the left within these minutes I stood there =)

Hi Thilo, this is great! Love the various levels, creating the illusion of a blend, using various bits and pieces, whereas it turns out to be a single shot on close inspection. Good composition, and a top notch shot. A photo t look at for hours....
Nitpicking, I would've liked to see at least one pedestrian heading the other way (to the right of the image. I think that would emphasise the confusion and the optical illusion even more.
Cheers,
Hugo

Hi Thilo! Your first panoramic pic AND your first CC pic :-O ... very interesting and original work! The mixture of posters and people is great and the space between the people is about the same; very well balanced compo. Love this idea of big and small people together; perfect as a pano; congrats!

Hi Thilo, You should be very pleased with this Panarama. I think you did well to choose a toned shot for this type of image. I think the fact that the "real" people blend in similar tones to the art posters makes the image work! Some people have mentioned the person, or two people looking into the camera. I don't think that is a real big problem. But, I see their point. It would be nice if all the "real" people were in profile and the art portraits straight on to the camera. But, wouldn't it have been extra nice if the people looking into the camera had art work profiles in their backgrounds? Good idea to capture this. Andre

Honestly Thilo, Can't point any fault in it, It looks simply great to me, I like the tones and the contrast in here, and even the platform which looks like a piano, maybe the only thing is that guy looking to the Camera, but who can control that?! :) Very well done, Regards,

Great shot!! Good B&W tones, love the panoramic 'view' and the real people versus the portaits/art... well spotted image!! The only thing... you should've told the first guy NOT to look at the birdie (and the people who put the posters up to not put two self portaits of Rembrandt so close together)... LOL!!!!!
