Many handicapped people, both young and old, Christian and Jewish, ended up at Auschwitz and other concentration camps. The Nazi's felt they were inferior - in the Fascist world of the Nazi's, they were just a burden. Non productive so not needed, disposable. Here's a collection of the artificial legs and crutches that were once property of the prisoners. All this was taken away before the bodies were burned.

Dear Clarence, I think you're right. Besides the fact that tripods are not allowed, the light source is probably about 2 100 watt spots, there's a big thick glass to shoot through, and the shot above was flatbed scanned off a 4 x 6 print I'm sure i could have done better on the sharpness. Thanks for the advice on what's important here.I'll remember next time I stop by. All the Best, Mark
