About	I've been experimenting with monolight portraits to achieve dramatic shadows, and my cat was a convenient test subject. I wouldn't crop the frame so tightly if I were to do it over. Critiques are appreciated!

Thanks for the comments; the taste for tight cropping tends to be quite subjective, but then there's a lot in photography like that.

Is the cat stuffed and mounted? No? well then you deserve top marks!!!!! Just getting the cat to stay in the light, long enough to get this excellent portrait makes you a god!.
I like the dramatic light, and the close crop. Don't change that.

A little eerie, and somewhat dark around the cat's eye there, but all in all, a neat shot. =)
