This has to be one of my favourite of your shots Petra, alas tis a shame you had a flake melt on/fall past the lens for the blur in the tree. I like the fact that the snow hasn't burnt out on the ground as a great exposure for this tricky light. I might have been tempted to burn the mids and shadows on the snow overall just to give it bit more depth.

Again Petra good comp and exposure but this is a bit soft. It not the camera BTW...Canon uses very little USM for in camera processing. That's for your benefit so the photos don't get oversharpened with halos. You have to use Unsharp mask in your post processing.

Very nice Petra. This has elements that take my eye all over the frame in a very harmonious way. Beautiful contrast and excellent exposure.
