About This is an outflow pipe carrying a mix of sand and seawater into a channel excavated during beach replenishment operations on Longboat Key, Fl. The pipe is carrying sand being dredged from a sandbar in the Gulf of Mexico, and will eventually pump 25000 yds of sand into the excavation before it is through.
