Yup...born and bred on this fine flat land of ours, where the corn grows knee-high by the fourth of July, the trip from north to south is long, flat and pretty much uninteresting, and the weather is consistently inconsistent but...it's home. Thanks for the stopping by Jim, you are very kind and I do appreciate it! Take care...Robin

Harsh angle, bright blue... all the things I love! Very nice. Thanks for the comment on the Illinois River (near Ottawa, by Starved Rock) yeah, we have way more than corn and beans. We have you!

Very interesting angle on this shot. The colors, light and details are good. The limited DOF adds a lot of depth to the shot.

Another cool shot Robin! I really like how you use the dof and focus to draw attention to a particular part of your photo. Well done (again)...great colors too! Susie

Hi Ray...thank you for the comments, much appreciated! It's an old silo...actually there are two of these wonderful old structures standing together. I'll see if I have a decent shot of the both of them and post it. Take care friend...Robin

Beautifully composed against that lovely rich blue sky my dear Robin. Excellent textures in the wood and good all round detail. I like the dof on this with the pof half way up the shot. What kind of container is this Robin?? Well done sweetie. All the very best....Ray
