Another wonderful capture Dave,
I got up one morning to find about 20 Cedar Waxwings in my Apple tree. They are not as beautifl as this one though. The sharpness here is outstanding and I love the catch light in the eye. I think this is my faviorte bird ever.

Beautiful capture - what a stunning little bird. I have a Birds of North America field guide - and this is a Bohemian Waxwing - cinnamon under the tail instead of white and the red and yellow on the wing. Say individuals are sometimes found in flocks of Cedar waxwings? A brilliant shot - well done!!

Hi Dave, Nice shot of this guy. Beautiful colouring on the wing tips. A couple of years ago a flock of these came by to visit us doing the same sort of thing only it was some kind of berry tree. There were about a hundred of them all feeding at once. Then they were gone and I haven' seen them since. I guess it was just a stop-over for them :)
