Thanx dear Alison for your nice words.
I didn't move my camera to get this effect, actually my camera was on a table tripod and the group of straws were not all at the same level, may be a couple of millimeters difference and the depth I adjusted was very shallow that's why it gave this effect to them.

Well Khaled, first of all I have to say how flattered I am that you should credit me for your inspiration here. And then I must say what a lovely job you have done in taking the concept further. I love the colour combination and the smokey / liquid feel of the resulting abstract.

It's really good idea to use X ray film viewer, great pattern of straws, I enjoyed looking to it.

great tones and colors for a very strange thing i still duno wats it even after ur explaination to laura:)mafish new camera wla 7aga:)it was my brother's who lives in the US when hr was here!i felt u were unhappy coz it is a cyber shot dun worry i still remember ur advice!i won't b able to come the opening of the exhibition as i'll have the mid terms all next week may b shaimaa can go:)c u sooooon isa in another exhibition:)

hi Khaled, Great colours, the combination of blue and red is always a hit, I believe. The theme of straws always very intriguing, mainly because it takes the ordinary plastic tube out of it's usual perspective, rendering it beautifully abstract. Great stuff. In this one, the off centered (thus less static) composition works very well. Cool shot!
