Oh Robin so sorry to hear what happened. It is really good to hear that no permanent damage occurred.. I've been thinking about you and had just thought that maybe you were on vacation, really..anyway I'm glad that you're ok now.
Looking at this photo you posted, i think you are doing alright already and just like a real good photographer, you're seeing possible good photos straight from the hospital. I think while in the hospital you were eye-ing this flower already fro an abstract...: ), thats a very positive sign. Don't worry, I think everything is being taken cared of alreaady for you.
Great warm color combination, signs of joy and warmness.. This tulip pistil really looks like a creature from another world.. its either your imagination is on the work or hallucination as a side effect from medication..: ), ..nicely composed, just means there were no damage done on your ability to balance things.. : )
Gramma Robin, take good care and keep away from stress, so always bring your camera with you...

Thank you Mel! I was going through camera withdrawl and bored senseless so I set up my tripod, grabbed a bouquet and started snapping away. It was great to be doing something, the next step...the great outdoors, all the spring flowers are blooming!

Thanks so much Ray, for the comment and the well wishes! It was quite an ordeal...I am still amazed (and very grateful) that I am virtually the same as before, with the exception of a really bad hair cut ;)! Everyone keeps telling me how lucky I am, I keep telling them I'm not lucky I'm blessed! I wanted to let my friends know why I was gone for so long and that I hadn't jumped ship for another site! Thanks again my friend!

Oh my dear Robin I had no idea that your hospital visit was one of such a serious nature. I didn't like to ask you about it on your last posting as too often you girls have to have 'girl's problems' sorted out. I am so pleased that the medical team assisted by the powers above have sucessfully thwarted this aweful condition. Please take care of yourself and continue to get back to full strength. AND do everything your doctors have told you to do!!!! My very best wishes to you sweet Robin.....Ray

Aside from that this photo is really nice. About as minimal depth of field as can be achieved I would think. A gift to you, and a gift from you to us!
