About A quick grab shot to capture them while they remained in same vicinity...
Normally i would have chosen a better aperture setting to increase the blur in background, but this was a reflex shot while i was shooting at a political rally and think it is worth posting because of the subject matter
(notice how many wheels he has...LOL)

Feedback appreciated

Thanks,Roger!...i now have some neuropathy in right hand and forearm from diabetes type 2 so i have to have a death grip on camera to keep it steady...i also mostly shoot higher iso to allow for some slight movement since i rarely use my old heavy tripod...sometimes i get lucky with grab shots!

Mmmmm. She's obviously thinking "Well, this guy certainly has great wheels..." Very attractive shot. You must have great reflexes and hand-eye coordination if you can take a "grab" shot like this!

Thanks for dropping by!...best i could figure out from my distance, was that she was upset that the boy was hogging the wheels since already had on roller blades! One minute she was running to daddy to complain, and then did an abrupt about face to try another....approach!...LOL...

Very cute, Gayle! I love the expression on her face. I can't tell if she is a bit frightened, or if she is wishing that she had one of those contraptions!

This little gentleman certianly has pushed the terms: "wheels", "rides" ect..... to the limit. Men!!!! They certianly star young, don't they? And just like the rest of us ladies, this little girl seems to be rolling her eyes at him. "Crazy BOY". Very nice street capture. I love all the bright colors.

This is cute Gayle. Perfect moment. The little one appears a wee bit shy but listening intently as the boy talks to her. Probably explaining his theory on motion, you know, the more wheels you have the faster you'll go. By the look of her body language though, she's either confused or thinks he's a total whack job! :)) Great stories out of this one... and not having a tight dof really doesn't interfere with the telling.

Sweet candid :)
Cheers
Rina.

Nice! I like the spontaneous aspect of it, I agree on a shallower DOF to throw off the background more. Overall Gayle I believe you've captured the moment, cheers.
