City - Pasir Pekan State - KELANTAN Country - Malaysia
About
It says "Stop" ("Berhenti" in Malay). I took this one while wandering around the village (while taking pictures of course). This laidback village somehow is turning into a city soon with recent rapid development around the area. I somehow have mixed feeling about this so called "development". Is it better to retain the laidback feeling of the village, or is it better to let it develop? I love this place for the plantations and farms (which young people there abandon nowadays, and those plantations and farms are getting lesser and lesser), but at the expense of this beautiful laidback place (take a look at my pictures, which are Singleton, Contry Road, Country Road Red, and Old Bridge. Those are the pictures taken in that place)?
I agree with the sentiment in the about section. People love the idea of getting more and more and more . . . then they wind up in a city and long for the older, simpler days. Nicely done.
