About This is the crypt of the Dom cathedral in Trier, the oldest city of Germany.
I shot this one only with the light out of the lamps. Iso 3200 out of hand.
I personally love the grain created by using this high iso speed.
Hope you like it too.

Thanks John for your kind words on this "oldie".
When you have the oportunity to visit Germany, you should go to Trier, lots of things to shoot over there.
Take care, have a nice evening,

Klaas

Very big compliment from you brother, you're right with the isospeed in this one, but with the slow shutterspeed I was thinking, couldn't be anything good, but it worked amazingly don't you think.
Very happy to read such kind comment.
Take care, good luck,

Klaas

Thanks you Nilanjan, did like it very much myself. This was a little bit of an experiment with isospeed and shutterspeed, worked out well don't you think?

I'm glad you like this one Meldijana, I did the camerasettings on the highest iso 3200 because there was so little light over there, and it worked out very well. It wasn't cold at all, about 18-20 degrees I suppose. Thanks for your compliments, that's always great to hear.
Have a nice weekend, take care,

Klaas

Thanks Laura for your kind words, I'm happy you like it. You're right about the grain, it's indeed fine. I'm not a big fan from that either, but sometimes it suits a picture, and then I do like it, it depends on the photo. Often it's a sepia or B&W.
Take care,

Klaas

Nice warm light in this image. I am not a big fan of grain, however the grain is this image is fine and not at all obtrusive.

Like it- I love it! It seems so warmly and welcomingly holy! I could light a candle and pray there alright. The colours, lighting and arches you capture wonderfully Klaas- just seems so real.
