Long before ancient Rome stood ancient Greece but of course the Romans influenced just about everywhere in the region. Beautiful ancient architecture composed brilliantly against the sky my dear Marian. I love the flare of the showing at the top and the flight of a lone bird. Ok . . . the Dove, hawk . . . whatever birdie it is . . . was a great touch. But the real brilliance in this is the placement of the sun right at the pinnacle of the ruin. It makes for a wonderful image. Way to go Marian!

Super silhouette shot!!! Great how you've hidden the sun behind the tempel ruin... but to make the shot perfect... you should've straightened/rotated it... I think about 3 degrees counter clockwise would do it... ;-D That dove is a neat bonus BTW... well captured!!
