Thanks Hugo, actually the water wasn't too cold to go out waist deep, but I don't know about taking my camera out there ;)
I kept the space on the right because I thought the waves added extra lines on that side and it made the lines in the clouds stronger.

Hi Bruce, Excellent soft lighting on the buildings, and the build up of the lines, using a seemingly perfect centered vanishing point creates a strong compostion. My initial reaction was that the large emptiness on the right was a bit excessive, but looking at the importance of the lines in this shot, I doubt if there was an other approach possible, unless you'd go out waist deep into the ocean. Very good photo.
