Giuliano, I'm often using a tarpaulin as background. It's about 40 years old and very ugly... :-) I think it looks great with short DOF. Just a large bouncer from the left and umbrella on the other side, or maybe just an large reflector. No, it's not my girl. Shot for a client.

...your lights and your excellent expressions of the models. One of these day I need to understand how you get them. I try to figure out how your studio is made with windows and backgrounds. The details on the shadow are so particular ! Did you also burn the sides or the photo or it is due to the bad quality of the lens ;) I see that you are slave of the squared format :))))
