Great Abstract Portrait shot Robin! I like the sepia effect, and the sharpness of the eye is wicked. Well done on the DOD award.
Ty for your comments, I am still positively reeling from getting 2 BIPs in one day. ;-)
My membership runs out in about two weeks, and as I am not working at present, I will be seemingly be demoted down to 1 upload per day. So will have to be very choosy as to which 1 I upload lol.

Thanks Ray, missed your thoughtful and supportive comments while you were away! Now it's my turn to say I'll be gone for a week or so...off on a work/road trip to New Orleans, LA. My husband will spend a few days working there, and I'll have the little guy and my camera. To and from, a few stops for fun. Hopefully I'll come back with something good to share with all of you!

An excellent piece of creativity sweetie and beautifully presented in stunning soft sepia tones. The eye is in perfect focus and surrounded by everything else with superb dof. Bravo Robin, your work just gets better and better.

The thumbnail caught my attention because of the unusual composition and tone. The clarity and captivating nature of the eye was a real bonus upon viewing the larger version. This is remarkable and very creative piece of art. Awesome work. Congratulations on DIOD.

Amazing. I'm hypnotized by the immaculate focus on that eye. I had no idea when I saw the thumbnail but this is an incredible shot and (IMO) should be considered for an award. Tones are great and the sepia works well for it. The composition and DOF are great too! Congratulations!
