Mountaineering at it's best. For me it's the rime covered rocks, and the interesting distant mountains just below the clouds that add a unique flavour.

Marvelous. The details in the foreground rocks are great. They make a wondeful lead into the beautiful clouds and mountains. I love being able to see over the clouds. Congraulations on POD.

This is a perfectly composed work and a delight to the eye! The colors are rich . . . The frost, a wonderful accent! The cloud crashing over the summit like a wave on a rocky beach is delightful . . . and to the left, a glimpse below the cloud surface of three ranges -- each lighter than the preceeding! The smooth surface at the top of the cloud layer defines what comes below it almost like looking into an aquarium. Above the clouds . . . the white whisps gradually deepen into a beautiful blue . . . a color echoed by the distant ranges below the clouds.
This is art.
THIS is photography!
A well deserved award.
