About Photos taken one by one with different settings. late afternoon, during sunset.

Left:
ISO 200
aperture F 5.3
shutter speed 1/60
WB auto

Right:
ISO 200
aperture F 5.6
shutter speed 1/125
WB auto

So the difference in exposure is mostly because of the speed and white balance.
Here WB was set to AUTO, so the camera decided how to change exposure.
The result was surprising.

the silhouette is more attractive, but the arrangement is intriguing...

Michael,

You are the only who tried to explain how it happeed that two shots taken at the same time, with slightly changed settings, happened to be so different.

Of course none ot them would look so interesting if uploaded seperately. Then these photos would be only average... Ok good :) but not exceptional.
Thanks,
nMK

Freaking great pairing - obviously metered off of the subject and then off of a ray of light in the background - and tried to over-compensate for all the green.

The result is stunning and amazing - I'd keep these together.

Of course, the composition and treatment makes this a nice photograph to begin with.

Splendid arrangement and well executed collage work, the different tone of excellent choice.

What a great idea taking a shot of the same flower during two different periods of the day! They do indeed look very different due to the lightconditions. Very intriguing.
Best wishes,
Annemette

The surprising part, Monika, is that both shots are so different but both are so good. I'm not trying to say that your camera is doing good job for you whatever you shoot I'm sure that whatever you shoot you camera is set to cooperate with and do the best but you are the artist.
The great one is the right one and if you could bring a bit of tones up in the dark parts than .... Cheers, n.j

Oh! What a relief.
Yes, you've got dramatically different photos from the same angle, Monika. I like how they're paired here. Either one is also strong enough to stand alone.

yes, it still works :)
it was temporal problem, maybe because I took too much photos in last days ;)
