Wow... beautiful detail!
A wonderful and timeless composition! Great balance in the shot, making it a perfect square image. The lighting is so very natural, and rolls so nicely on the hands.

A double congratulations! Nice hands, and nice hands portrait. This conveys strenth and worry to me intensified by the low key choice. Nice detail with the lighting that filters throughout and distinguises the fingers. The humble ring fits the hands and looks like it's been worn a while.I appreciate that there is a spot of light that shows between the ring and the finger. To me the light may be a little too intense from the lower right. Curious what a high key treatment would look like. If you don't mind me asking,just wondering how many shots you might have taken. For this shot especially,relying on a little help from a friend,a digital is so helpful for shooting many frames. I'll sometimes take 20 or more and find just one I'm satisfied with.
Nicely laid out with the diagonal composition.
With the white background however and with no border or frame, it tends to get lost on the screen. Might I suggest one.
