On these two cameras . . . with the same MP sensor size . . . the result is based on photographer more than camera . . . though I suspect the D80 will prove to be a leader of the pack!

Thanks Doyle, I wish Nikon should have made a veritical shutter release battery grip for the D50. All my cameras have the battergy grip, it helos me to hold the camera properly. I have seen the third party grip pictures and im not sure wether they fit properly or not. One of my friend has the D70s, and we have a friendly fight over the fact wich camera produces better images. At this moment my D50 is far far ahead.

Thanks Tim. The D50 usre is helping a lot. Although I will always be grateful to film. Monsson is my favourite season as there is huge drama in the skies.
