Thanks for comment. I do agree that this is not one of the best of floral shots in my portfolio. And I am happy that I am perceived "getting into an are where my shots are good" :) I am still learning and a lot of in front of me. As Giuseppe Guadagno (http://www.usefilm.com/photographer.asp?id=103352) noticed, not always photos that we consider good/excellent the others see in the same way. And otherwise, sometimes average photo in author's opinion seems exceptional for viewers. May be that is why I upload also photos that in my opinion are only good.
Hmm... but yes, I should be careful not to fill my portfolio with too much average shots as then those exceptional will stay at the last pages ;) And one more thing... it is good to expect more, to expect better photos from those who achieved a certain level. I should do my best to take exceptional shots, not only nice/propers photos. Once again thanks :) BR, Monika
A little soft, probably on the conversion down to 750 pixels, adding just a touch of sharpening should bring it right.
Same delicate natural light and shortish DOF makes for this wonderful floral shot. I always appreciate a good in camera composition of the details to express the whole and I think this makes for a good addition to your portfolio.
Nice bloom, just not one of the best - I think you are getting into an area where your shots are good and you have to go through and say "This is Excellent" or "This is exceptional"
A good place to be. Keep posting the work, good or great and see if you can get the feedback to tell you when you have taken something really special.
Of course, if you are hooked like me, you'd keep taking them and posting anyway.
