Awesome backlighting, excellent composition and great simplicity!
I have a slight preference for the "simpler" version because of the enhanced simplicity.
Thanks for your lovely comment and yes I have photographed quite a few flowers in Africa although a bit limited because of winter time but still very lucky as some florals bloomed very early...will upload some of these as soon as I get more time to go through all the photos taken (taken up to 4000 images during the whole trip).

Giuseppe, I can't help myself, but giving you my best wishes also for this excellent one. This background acts as a great enhancement of the flower, which in turn looks so beautiful in front of the silky green of the depth! I could just sit and look for hours!

Thanks very much Joggie for all your appreciated comments. I've been un doubt and, as it normally happens in these cases, I took the wrong decision. You are right, much better without the cutted leaves. The simple picture becomes even more simple (see attachment).

Love the unique background tones which support the simple subject. The lighting is great! I would prefer getting rid of the straggler leaves at the bottom of the frame. Great, otherwise, Giuseppi!

Simple and very beautiful Giuseppe. Lovely colour and detail. The one thing that bothers me is the leaves sticking out at the bottom. I would either clone the out in PS or tilt the camera slightly to include one or two of them into the picture. Just a thought. Great shot anyhow!
