About A few hours old and about 15mm in length. This little guy (Knysna Dwarf Chameleon - Bradypodion damaranum) found a nice spot, blended and then slept most of the time. Photo taken in a bougainvilla bush in my garden. Uncropped, sharpened and brightness and contrast adjusted in PS.

The clarity of the colours and textures just amazing Joggie. Wonderful to capture the eye (especially if he slept loads!).

great little guy! I like the crook of the branch against the curl of his tail. Aren't chameleons fascinating? funny, we have hundreds of lizards, frogs and such but I never photograph them! guess maybe I should get out from my desk here at my business and do so!

Is this the same chameleon as in "Baby chameleon"?

Regardless it's a wonderful shot. Great detail, I can see his little nails!

He is so ugly but so beautiful. Look at his tiny toe nails.I wish we had Chameleons. This is another fantastic macro, Joggie. I feel like I could reach out and feel the texture of his skin. Cheers, Ann.

He is so cute - These little guys are so full of character even as they loaf and do nothing. The Dof is fantatic and every ridge and valley is clearly in view. I love the curling tail. Beautiful diagonal composition and the lighting complimenting.
