Thanks Paul you are all far too kind. The computer screen does no show half as much as the print does, I am well pleased with this camera. It has lain nearly 50 yrs unused, and is literally new. But the lens is something else!!!

It's a lovely image. Good to see people still using old cameras and film. Regards, Gary

Just an excellent image John!! Wonderfull done and very good tonal range!! I love the composition. Looks perfectly exposed to me........If you did lower gamma seems that the wonderful detail even in the shadow areas would be lost. Very impressive capture John, thanks for sharing...

Sarah thanks for looking. Film is 25 iso ultra fine grain. Scanned with Canoscan4000 film scanner, no sharpening applied. the gamma is 4 the max of the scanner. Best wishes john.

Hi, this is a very nice image with lovely lighting. I don't know much about this camera or film type. Did you scan it and then sharpen? The details are very sharp, but I wonder what it would look like if you decreased the sharpness just a tiny bit? Also, if you have photoshop, you might experiment with lowering the gamma in the exposure setting just a bit. This might bring out even more detail in the lovely stones. These are just a couple of suggestions for experimental tweaking. Overall, a very good shot.
