Hi Jinggoy, thanks for the comment! Getting a clear shot of the GGB is always a great sight, but the fog does add a whole other atmosphere :) This was taken on the SF side, after about a mile hike from the Cliff House area. Thanks for the add - I would reciprocate but I'm at my limit and haven't renewed my donor status yet. But I noticed our upload times are about the same (late at night haha) so I'll definately be keeping an eye out on your work. Thanks again.

Hi Toshi! I agree with you and Marcus on this. This is really what the GGB looks like. There are several shots of the bridge that I've always love to take - when it's engulfed in fog and a part of it is just exposed. This is one of them. Very well seen. Looks like you took this from the Marin Headlands. Take care Toshi! I'll be adding you to my friendslist!

your statment is very true as to how most people here see the GGB, from the marina greens area, and what is also true about this shot is with the fog nearly engulfing the bridge many dont realize this is how it looks most of the time,it is rare that you can get a clear daytime shot of the bridge without fog, which to me enhances it as is part of its beauty. well done my friend..

Good idea Toshi. It is always a good idea to show something like this from a perspective that most of us never see. Andre

I think the fog adds an important element to this shot...it is indeed how it is most often seen. Nice wide angle and good b/w conversion. Susie

Toshi...I really like it! You're so right about it being the real GGB...those marine clouds and the marine layer is relentless aren't they? I really like the perspective you went here as well as the moodiness of the shot itself. Nice!

Good selection of panorama view, where the monochrome tone of excellent choice, the fog enhances the composition and filtered the direct sunlight. Superb Saeed
