I grew up in a small village in the heart of Northumbria, & although I now love the town I live in your photos remind me of my childhood & the true beauty of this region... you are truly talented & I'm glad someone directed you to my portfolio so in turn I found your inspiring photos.
This one is breathtaking... I love low lying mist & you've caught it magnificantly here... goes to show how much beauty there is going on behind our backs... well caught x

This a wonderful moody image. Jo, you did a great job here; the presentation is excellent, the perceptual effect of the top and bottom frames extending the view in both sides of the image, is an excellent idea.
It's very romantic how the caressing fog blankets the rolling hills with its sensuous touch.

Why do I have a feeling that ALL your pictures can win awards ? What do you do ?? Your simplitude, above everything else, is perhaps the main reason for this. To say that I am impressed by you would be mundane. It's more like, I am almost swept off..

Thankyou Maurizio, my husband gets up very early twice a week and when he returns home he always tells me what I missed out on 'when I was sleeping'.
The stretch of hadrians Wall between Banks and Corbridge in Northumberland has some wonderful scenery.
