Thanks for all the comments, pal. I feel the same way about the covered wing. Sometimes a slight flaw can add to a picture. I like the way the flower covering the wing adds depth to the picture.
BTW, this is not the same butterfly. Look close. ;^)
Damn, Todd... This is a great macro. Excellent blurred background. Great composition, with possibly the exception of the flower obscuring the wing a bit (many would make a huge deal over it, but I rather like it). Great work, Todd. Your photos have become even better with that DSLR. Great work, buddy. I'd like to see more macros from you.
PS, be sure to add this shot to the macro category so everybody that looks in the macros will see this shot. :)
