Yes, this was indeed a candid, as she was listening to a conversation between two people off-camera.
Perceptive of you to note my use of flash. No, it's not normally allowed at this museum either, but I was brought in by the Museum to get some shots of attractive people admiring the art (including Monet's Water Lilies).
This shot was between posed sessions. ;)
