About Faqirs sit outside the Mazar (Shrine) of Hazrat Shams (RA) in Multan Sharif during Urs festival. Urs is celebrated across much of Muslim world barring the conutries where strict puritian version of Islam that is Wahabism, is followed.

People believe that Hazrat Shams (RA) asked Sun to cook his food so sun came down and heated it. Since then, people say, Multan Sharif has become burning hot.
