Interesting urban photography, Paul. It comes together well with the combination of silhouette and neon! Now a vulture perched on the arch would be prophetic comment on the spicy chicken. But these birds, too, seem to make a statement within this composition.

Paul,

This is an awesome image! Great job grabbing that 'driving on the way home from work' shot. Those are the one's where you hold up traffic at a stoplight while you dislocate your arm going for the camera in the back seat. Well worth it every time.

Very great composition, and so well captured. The sunset ramp of color is very nice! works so well with the subject, and the 'drive home' feeling. The birds are just classic.

So well done! ...I'm not a huge fan of the thin red matte. It almost takes the strength away from the sign. Maybe that's just me.

great job with this! ...not easy to make the golden arches look like art!

cheers,
-joel

Paul,

IMHO, I would have dropped the shutter speed to gain a greater DOF... A bit soft indeed...

Fresh meat, and you know how I feel about grackles...

Well seen my friend,

Marty

I knew those golden arches were good for something! (birds love them!) A constant source for fresh fowl!!!

The American trademark!
Good capture at the right time of day.

Lori :)

LOL. Great humor shot. But technically, an excellent twilight shot with the exposure. And the wire clutter and building overhang with the spotlight really add to this. Not easy to turn a Mickey D sign into an interesting photo.

Best wishes,
Dave
