Indeed. If only mine were a little more sharper though.
Taken only two months earlier than me. Perhaps I stumbled across it at some point back then and it left it's mark in my mind? Wonderful work...

Nice picture.. I like it very much. The contrast between the green of the plants and the gray of the water is well capture. Colors are well managed. Perhaps better with a little bit more light on the plant on the right, but one can not command the sun rays.. ;) Fabrice

Pat, great minimalistic shot with universal beauty of nature. Will be even more powerfull as B&W.
I saw your question about Canon 180mm Macro lens in forums.
I was reading reviews on macro lenses. Conclusion - Canon 180mm macro is best lens available at present time. It suppose to work well on your Digital Rebel.

Oh, I see. I suspect that's much more noticeable in your full version. At this size it's really not apparent. Time to get a boat.

James, I think the DOF is a little shallow. It was shot at 1/1000th so I had plenty of light. The leaf on the right is a little soft.

I like the subtle tones. The composition is well chosen (cropped well). What would you like to have gained by stopping the lens down?
