All your wildlife images are beautiful. You seem to use Velvia all the time. Velvia is a great slide. I always use it for macro and scenic. But, I wonder whether you always carry a tripod/monopod with you when you go out for wildlife photography. I wonder how many shots you take to get a sharp image? This is just curosity. I love wildlife photography and would appreciate any comments you have that can satisfy my curosity. Thanks.
Actually the feathers aren't moving in the wind, it's all the bird's doing as a display during the mating season. It was photographed at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm, one of the best places to photograph nesting snowy, cattle, and common egrets, little blue herons, tricolored herons, and of course, alligators.
