This is wonderful. The bright flowers and dark, foreboding clouds makes for a perfect contrast of emotions. Rather than "Winter" as a previous commenter wrote, I look at the impending weather as another sign of Spring. Spring's all about new live and all, but it's also about thunderstorms.
After living in California for so long, clouds like this are really interesting. You just don't get thunderstorms and interesting clouds out there (I've since moved). I think it has something to do with the terrain.j
I don't care too much for the border and especially for the text at the bottom, but that's fine if you like it.

lighting: excellent colours and contrast
originality: good combination of warm colours of the flowers and gry cloudy sky differentiate it from the millions of flower images around
