I agree with you about the angle, but tourists were not allowed to go down. this was the best angle. I took that kind of pictures at a souvenir shop close by. thanks for the comment.

Nice shot Ayse
I like this shot and specially I like it because I love these ancient statues very much,
But I think this angle you choose won't be helpful to show them in best way.
I think lower vertical angle would be a better choice so that more heads in composition and better use of space in the shot, plus you could use the effect of DOF to render even a great shot.
I would like to suggest you that if you can still visit there, go on shooting and try some lower Angles too, god knows how much I love to be there shooting the place.
but the contrast and tones work really good here, they help a lot to show this place I think.
