About Reflection in the window of a deserted general store (which I happened to notice as the bride was passing by in order to shoot a great pic against such an interesting backdrop). I asked her to stop and caught this fragment of a moment for the sake of "art". The bride was NOT actually jilted!!!

Thank you, Albert.

I have a deep fascination with windows and with all types of reflections. I'm pleased you like this shot.

Warm Wishes,
Aniko :)

Hello Aniko,

I can imagine the the bride wasn't, but I must say I am. Excellent view you show here. I excercised a lot on reflections of windows, because it interests me. I know it's difficult.
But this image is great and very interesting, drawing the attention. Good job, you did by this image.

Greetz,
Albert

Aniko, this has a very nostalgic feel, derived from both the muted tone and the harsh highlights. They work perfectly together, and you captured an expression on the bride that the viewer can interpret in any way they choose. All of these qualities add up to a wonderful composition that I have enjoyed studying, very much! ~Brad

Hello Paul!

Nope, I get 4 uploads a day like all donors, and usually do upload 4 a day. I am actually just deciding on which 4 to upload today.

A big LOL on "jilted bridge"... :)

You say you love the way I processed it... how did I process it, Paul? :) Had I "really" processed it, (perhaps to eliminate the hot spots), it would be pretty different. I wanted to keep the hot spots in this image. Made me think of a princess in a castle. I see hot spots (sometimes)as a complimentary element to the story in the picture. I have a very unusual imagination... I like to shoot into reflections of dirty windows in particular. I'm totally insane.

Many thanks for your wonderful comments, my dear friend, Paul... :)
Aniko :)

here visiting your work! You getting extra uploads Aniko? Hummmm
Better watch it......The upload police will get you!! (Hehehe) Its going to take me a bit of time to catch up!
Now to the photo......:) When I first click this image to view I thought it said jilted bridge and that did not make a lot of sence. lol
So imagin my surprise!
This is a really cool shot. I like the way you processed it! I mostly love the tones and the translucency of it all.....Very beautiful Aniko!
I love the shot just wish that the hot spots had not crept in on you! :( But like you said it was fast capture and I know you did not have to to setup or make adjustments so, great great work dear Aniko!!!!
I really enjoyed the view!
Much thanks for sharing,

Your friend,

Paul

Hi Paul!

Well, I had my camera with me as it was an assigned shoot... lol... No, this image was not planned. If you have read the "about" on this image, it was a fast eye on my part that noted this reflection. All I did was ask the bride to please stop! Then I shot the image (more for my creative art portfolio than as an image to be included in her wedding album...)

Your comments are always warmly appreciated,
my dear friend,
Ani :)

Yet another reason to always have a camera with you!

This is very strong, and looks like it was planned, instead of quickly visualized. This speaks volumes of your vision, Ani.

The face perfect. I expect to see a knife and the end of the film! And it is so strong even though soft.

Interesting comment there, Colin! Thank you! Really appreciated. Apparently this image evoked a "feeling" within you. Good! :)

Hugs!
