Mystical looking scene. The colors are warm, the mist adds a touch of mystery. Good details on those rocks.

Hi Jeroen,
Filters used, Circ Pol, ND8 and P121 L (grad ND). I used these filters to slow the speed down and to take some of the flare from the horizon. Without filters the speed would have been +/- 2 secs which would hae given too much detail in the ocean, also the F/G would hae been under exposed. So I slowed the whole image down, darkened the sky and horizon with the P121 L and used a hand held flash with a yellow filter to try and lift the F/G out of the image slightly. I check to see what the speed would be on average metering with the filters (which was 15 secs) then go to manual to speed it up slightly and add manual flash. Thanks for your comments.
Regards Peter.

Great job imparting a smooth uniformity to the mist. All around a very fine picture. I might consider pulling the flash a bit on this one, since the lowest quarter of the image is so much brighter.

Very well executed long exposure. Shame you have the horizon ever so slightly tilted, or it would have been just about perfect.
Can you give more details about what filters you used and why?
