Thank you Doyle! Yes, I shoot outside, "in the field"...ah, sounds so "professional" doesn't it? ;) Yup (Barney again), outside, natural light, (sniff) handheld. Bahahaha!
For me...overexposure was, and sometimes still, is one of the biggest things to overcome. This one...sunny day, underexposed by 1, normal adjustments in ps...nothing fancy or artsy-fartsy! Good luck with the new equipment...can't wait to see the results. Take care...Robin

Amazing Composition Robin - You really do these Florals very well. I like the overall soft colors . . . yellow in a variety of tones . . . I love the composition . . . and the DOF is amazing. Do you by chance shoot these outside? The lighting seems perfect and I have trouble with that . . . I recently invested in some reflectors and diffuser to (hopefully) help. We'll see.
:)

Beautiful- engrossing and so soothing. The colours just gorgeous. (Same as my house because they are so fresh and yet gentle!) The little petals beautifully captured so close.

Well done composition, Robin, with exposure, etc., just fine. There is something lacking here, though that I just can't identify. Maybe it's the combination of yellow and white colors. Maybe it's the fine detail of the petals. Don't know what. Maybe this image would be better in B/W. Anson

I am amazed that no-one else has picked up on the beauty of this lovely floral study my dear Robin. I love the pof and the overall dof is just superbly captured in this well thought out composition. The golden yellows and the delicate creaminess are just gorgeous. Well done to you sweetie. My very best wishes to you as always.... Ray ;)
