I like the tones too, all things considered. This was scanned from an 8x10 hand print I made on Kodak paper and the nature of that paper is not particularly contrasty, but somewhat greyish. So I am pleased you like the tones and clarity.
The model has an incredibly interesting look, and if you note my comments to Shirley, she will see the story behind this image and just how versatile this young woman is.

This was a difficult shoot for this model on assignment for her first portfolio. She was nervous. I just asked her to sit down (outdoor natural light shot) and to think about something she dreams of. Note how her hands are clasped together as in prayer... I liked this "pose", as it has an element of "reality" in it I think!!! Who would believe this is the same model as "Soft Wrap" and "Delicate" gee... can't remember which others (if I have posted any more of her yet), but I will let you know! My, how she lost her initial shyness! Pleased to say :)
