a beautiful site to see. And the construction work on shrine a very positive reversal of the old ruin idea.

Great shot! You are probably well aware of the little problem on the bottom right! But what to do? When you have such an opportunity of great shot, we will all press the shutter knowing the contraints. By the way, I love your B&W in your portfolio. Roland

It's my fault.I should have given a bit of the bg. This is the time of worship of 'Mother Durga' ,the goddess with ten hands who slayed 'Asura'-an embodiment of all evil .According to myth/religion she comes every year from her husband's place in Kailas(Himalayas) with her children to her maternal home on Earth, where she stays for four days before going back. This shot was taken on 'shasthi',the first day of worship. John, her husband is 'Shiva',the god of destruction,so I don't think he'll take your belly-dancer comment very lightly !

OK, I can't START to work out what's going on here (a half-built building, a woman with 10 arms, a belly dancer, a ... no, never mind!) but it's a fascinating image. Just a shame it's shot from a car (?) which I find intrudes a little at bottom right.
