Amy and Brad,
I agree about the composition - I was hoping to experiment a little more with him. A couple of seconds after I took this, and was zooming out, some kids came racing passed with bread. Lol - there went the tranquil moment :) Oh well, now I have a new goal - to recreate this moment and include a little more of the swan in it.
Too right about the F707 - endless hours of joy so far

Isnt the 707 a great camera. Shame that you zoomed in quite so much, looks like there is something missing from the crop. I might also suggest that you adjust the levels and white balance in something like Photoshop to really get the colours to "pop" out of the photo. at the moment your image is looking a little flat around the head of the swan

Great motion on the swan, but I was wondering why you stopped short on the swan. I think it would have been a very lovely photo if you would have zoomed out and captured the whole stretch. It seems a bit lacking having the photo cropped off just under the bird's beak. Sorry to be so nit picky. =) -Amy Flemming
