Great one Roger - seems to have an almost timeless quality. Nice collection of mundane objects making a compelling image.

Thanx for the critique Megan... whilst I take your point about the tine I never alter a scene from "as I found it" condition.. I feel that the scene has clicked with me as is and therefore should be recorded the same it is my personal challenge to make a silk purse out of a sows ear as it were... thanks again

hi Jan kekeke its actually called Soup because of the little sticker down on the left hand side door that indicated there were soup bowls in that section of the cupboard.... the urns (which indeed they are) are for boling water for tea and coffee...typical of me find some obscure title... and run with it.. glad you liked the image

Good use of shading and excellent control over grey tones. I really like photos of everyday object and this is well done. Also very much like the photo "Soup" for the same reasons (they looks like coffee urns but who is to say:)).
--Best to you, Jan

I really like this. Great contrast and tones. I would probably darken the paint tin and on the ground around it though. It's a bit of a distraction. Awesome image.
