Hi Annemette ,
I was on a long break...or so it seems. Yep it is just what you said a protected bay with low tide and high waves out in the horizon... Yes my mermaid friend to get out to the island or as they call it here ( a spit) and check things out. Usually there are lots of seals since there aren't so many people and the crabbing is also very good here. You would really enjoy Oregon my frieind!

and your time to comment . It may seem old to You but not to me YET !
I take the Cannon comment as a good one ... I know I have gotten away with an awful lot with this little camera... BUT when you are determined you do the best you can with what you've got . I hope to branch out to try other lighting and learn new things too but now the job, and my Mom's health .. . . are cutting into my photo time temporarily anyway. I always appreciate you advise and welcome all of your comments my freind.

It looks like a protected bay with low tide and higher waves out in the horizon? How an adventure to walk out on that small island and climb the rocks and also look at the pebbles lying on the sand.:-)

Hi Michele, nice picture you have here.
I really like the line from the front left corner towards the center, as Doyle pointed out. It draws the eye to the middle of the frame, before examening the rest of the photo. Terrific range of blues as well.

Nicely composed image of a scenic and tranquil locale Michele. Not much to offer by way of advice . . . the technical merits of the shot are all present and the image seems nicely balanced with the diagonal from lower left drawing the eye to the central area . . . a 1/3, 2/3 land vs sea ratio . . . nice tones and an intersting foliage accent on the rock. And all this with a CANON?? LoL! ;)

Oh my friend this one is very nice scenery with lovely
atmosphere. I can feel the tranquill scene and nature
view. Very nice natural colours and tones here, the
details are amazing. Lovely blue tonal range it's my
favourite colour. Wonderfully done my dear friend.
